Eric Voice
was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. A member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation in Ontario. Eric is a direct
decendant of Francis Sharbot, the Aboriginal founder of Sharbot
Lake, Ontario, Canada. Eric Voice is the lead vocalists, bass player and songwriter (with Eric Sherbert, also Algonquin). Eric's first original musical work was in the Rock duo The End. His two music videos premiered on the Canadian National Music Video Channel, MUCHMUSIC, on July 26th and December 27th, 1987. Eric Voice performs at many annual Native music festivals, such as the Sweetgrass Music Festival on the Akwasasne Reserve at the U.S./Canada Border, and the Peacepipe Festival in Kingston. He has also featured at the Aboriginal Music Festival in Toronto on Aboriginal Day. Other locations include; Cornwall, New York State, Minnesota.
