Four Winds Pipestone Pipe

 

This pipe is hand-crafted out of native Catlinite pipestone. The four rings cut into the bowl section represent the four directions of the wind. These authentic styles are expertly hand carved using traditional methods. Overall dimensions indicate total length, including stem and bowl. Pipestone Plains Pipe

The most common style of pipe used from the Western Ohio River Valley to the Rockies and from the Arkansas River to the Canadian Plains.  Made from genuine red pipestone or “Catlinite,” which is found in only one location in Minnesota, these authentic styles are expertly hand carved using traditional methods.
