Coming Home

By Gary One Bull Neal

I stand upon the mountain
I face the winds
A cry goes to the four winds
A cry goes to our Mother
A cry goes to our Father
A cry goes to all winds

There is great Joy that comes in the winds
The Spirit of the one that sat like the bull
The Spirit of the one whom worn the hat of the stars
The hat now has many feathers that blow in the winds
It dances like the butterfly
It dances in the winds
It is now the Bear that Stands alone in the winds
It is now the Standing Bear that guards the Mountain

The Standing Bear that cries to the Winds
The Standing Bear he cries to the Winds
Wake up dear children, he says
Wake up dear children, he says
Wake up dear children, he says
Wake up dear children, he cries to the winds!

They all come to the Mountain
They come from all ways
They all come to the Mountain
They come to remember the old ways
They all come to the mountain
They come in all ways
They all come as the Rainbow
They form the bridge to the New Way!

Aho!
