If you are a Returning Veteran or have a family member who is....

This information is for you.

The US Welcome Home Foundation takes care of the soldiers and families after the parades and parties are over. The foundation addresses the social, emotional, and spiritual wounds of war, when the soldier returns home.  When a soldier goes to war, the family goes to war; when a soldier gets wounded, the family gets wounded, and the community gets wounded.

The US Welcome Home Foundation serves as a broker of services with organizations and corporations providing funding, services, and resources for military service members, veterans, and their family members.

The Vision

The US Welcome Home Foundation stands as a ‘Welcome Home’ to those who have served in the defense of the United States.  Through a support network of local, state and national community members and organizations the foundation assists with the reintegration of warriors into their family, home and community.

The US Welcome Home Foundation stands as a bridge between the individual and the family; between veterans and their community; between wounded-ness and balance.

We are all interconnected and we are all wounded by war.  It is through the efforts of each one of us that our families, communities and country are healed.

Mission

The United States Welcome Home Foundation (USWH) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides services and resources beyond the budgetary and mission capabilities of the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs and other National, State and Local veterans’ agencies.

Purpose

The US Welcome Home Foundation serves the members and veterans of the US Armed Forces and their families.

Its purpose is to use a combination of activities integrated to assist and enable them to make the transition from combat deployment to active and useful lives in their communities.

It provides a network of support, treatment, education and motivation to enable and empower individuals and families to achieve fulfilling and productive futures within their community.

The US Welcome Home Foundation addresses the treatment of physical, social, emotional, spiritual and economic wounds through the use of integrative strategies in a family and community based approach.

Transition and Reintegration

The resources of the Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs are limited with regards to tending to the social, emotional, spiritual and economical needs of the family and community.
